![]() I've been seeing a pretty pink tree around the neighborhood recently and I've been wondering what it was. I dont have a picture so i'll discribe it. I've only seen it from a distance and havent looked at it closely so my discription will be extremely vague. Its im guessing 10? maybe 15 feet tall with pink buds. And its at the very end of winter in northern Claifornia and from a distance i havent seen leaves just pink flowers. im going to check one out more closely soon so ill update probably tonight. and for you who dont know the Greek word for what is it? is manna. and i have to anounce this yesterday i started my first garden by planting strawberries. I'm so happy!

![]() Pink flowering dogwood comes to mind. It reaches about 15 feet. Blooms early.

![]() Red Bud would be my guess, too. But I'm not sure that they grow there. Lived in So Cal most of my life and don't remember seeing them there.
But here in N.FL...there are multitudes of Red Buds and they are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Margie |

![]() Hey, thanks everyone. I checked all of these trees. I haven't found my tree yet but the tulip tree was actually a tree that I also thought was pretty and...well...I guess I know what it's called now!
