Re: Melianthus Major
As I mentioned to tophersmith, these can be found at Kartuz Greenhouses: Rare and Exotic Plants. Expect a plant about 8" tall with about a 1/4" stem and maybe two leaves. These do not enjoy high heat and humidity. Only one of 3 that I bought last year survived. It has been moved into the shade. So far so good, but it is growing slowly since it prefers full sun.

Re: Melianthus Major
Well, Kartuz got our three Melianthus Major to SE TN in one week!!! Our 3 plants arrived yesterday and I went to pick mine up from ClevelandCathy's today. She kept one and I brought the other two home. I have potted one up and put one outside in the ground. Interested to see what it will do for me this year. I will keep a progress report throughout the summer. Wish me luck....
