Default Need suggestions for vines on trellis.

Hi.
I have a 16' x 8' trellis that I'd like to cover with some type of vines that have nice flowers. I know, that's too general of a question, so whatever idea you have, I'll follow up on it. The vine will need to be able to withstand the hot sun, trellis is south facing.

Thanks,

I remember seeing them in your backyard. Where can I find these? Specialty nurseries?

You can buy online. To make sure that you get one that will grow in your zone I would go to a local nursery.

I love the bougainvillea. Everytime I see it it reminds me of all the time I have spent in the caribbean. It comes in a variety of colors.
"it flowers best in harsh conditions of hot sun, so allow it to dry out between watering, and it needs little nitrogen fertilizer. It benefits from a bloom-boosting, potassium-rich fertilizer once or twice a year"

I like them too, just hate the fact that the flower petals drop like crazy, it'll be too big of a mess for me to worry about.

Went to a local place this morning, they suggested Bower's vine, any comments on that? I'm gonna try to look for passion fruit vines as my 1st choice.

The nice thing about a passion vine beautiful flowers and fruit. They can also be cut way back and still produce fruit the same year.
