How big do the leaves get. The peach one usually gets larger leaves but it doesn't bloom as heavy as the maya even though it is twice as big

The maya is blooming so much. Unfortunately there was a big change in temperature and the maya had about 20 buds drop over the course of a couple days. The peach hasn't dropped one yet. The maya still has a massive amount of blooms somewhere around 35 opening right now

They get about 2 feet long including the leaf petiole, are toothed, and are pretty cool looking even without the flowers. It is having its first bloom right now, and it started out yellow, then turned a little more orange. The bloom has been open for 2 days and has not burned or browned, and may be a little bit too fragrant lol. I have it on my porch and wow! I cant imagine a whole tree of them, probably pass out lol, I thought my first Brug Jamaica Yellow was strong, till I smelled this one. You may have Dr Seuss, its one of the parents of Grimaldi and looks a little more peach to me. Are you able to keep your Brugs in full sun? I think Grimaldi could take it, but I doubt Jamaica Yellow would, it seems picky, I am not too fond of it yet, it does not flower much in warm weather even with fertilizing every other day, but I counted about 80 buds on it, so hopefully it will put on a show now finally.

Yeah the only one I don't keep out in full sun is my snowbank it has to much variegation for full sun it would burn up the white so I keep him next to the aeae

I have Fleming island but it hasn't done a lot of anything all summer though kind of a disappointment

I was surprised yesterday by this poor neglected bromeliad. It was pretty non-descript until it bloomed!

My green pepper blooms just opened up today. They went into the dirt pretty late, just a bunch of seeds off of a core so any results is a free win!

On an unrelated note (not a bloom), after two months spent growing their rhizomes, two of my White Birds of Paradise are finally shooting out leaves! They were given to me in water with only the tiniest bits of rhizome and roots.

The second bird (seen PiP) is just starting to peep out.

Walking Iris opened up this morning for the first time. We got them in July as little clippings with some starting roots.

Some quick googling tells me they are Trimezia steyermarkii.
