Do you actually process and roast the coffee? I have some too, but it seems like a hassle to remove the fruit, get the husk off the seed, etc. Got any secrets? Thanks.

So far just eating them raw off the plant. Hadn't really researched all the steps for processing them yet.

Had 8 medium frames of honey in the freezer from last fall that I extracted so I could use the frames/comb for up coming nectar flow.
Got 2 gallons and 20 ounces of honey from the 8 frames.
This a pint jar of the goodness.

It's a MAJOR hassle. I have 10 coffee trees and I planned on having 12, one to satisfy coffee needs for each month but I stopped at 10 because the skinning, drying, roasting and grinding is such a pain.

The coffee was quite good though but too labor intensive to make it a viable option so my coffee trees serve as a visual barrier or green fence between me and the condo in back of me.

Now... what did I harvest?

My peaches are excellent. I just finished up the winter crop of carambola, and the trees are already blooming for the summer crop, sapodilla are still abundant, I get at least one a day, and on the slate for picking this week is a jack fruit, Canistel, lemon drop mangosteen and pineapple.

It's going to be a GREAT summer, the mango trees are full!

Given the other plants you mention, you must be growing a very low-chill peach. What variety is it? I still haven't found one that is consistently great in my low-chill but also low-heat coastal CA climate.

I have two, a tropic sweet in ground since 2/2011, and a tropic beauty which I planted in 2013.

The first is a HUGE disappointment but the tropic beauty has given me 4+ dozen peaches so far this year.

My first jaboticaba harvest. Took 9 years to get more than a few fruit per year.

Yeah, Sabarra are like that, it drives me CRAZY :-) I planted my first in 2011 as a 6' tall 7 gallon, and this year was my first decent crop, every year is better than the last.

Knowing I could and would be able to eat a LOT of Jabo, I planted another one (a 4' footer) in 2014 and it's coming along S-L-O-W-L-Y, but it's healthy. I hope to have fruit in 2020.

We harvested close to 30 pounds this last week. My wife is going to make ice pops for our son, hot pepper sauce, and we were also going to maybe try wine. They are a wonderful fruit.

You'll probably want to espalier the male and female so that you still have skin on your arms after you harvest the fruit.
