Default Yellow leaves on my citrus ?

I have a citrus plant unknown kind its full of blooms and in a big pot my sister said its a dwarf. I just gave it some citrus food a few weeks ago . The plant looks yellow.I have it in full sun. Anyone know what I can do to get it green again,I never grew citrus before.
Thanks

I just fertilized mine because it was having the same problem. Most likely a lack of nitrogen or iron. I'm interested in what anyone else has to say.

I was thinking maybe because of all the rain we had maybe too much water.

That often happens after winter, I usually add a little liquid iron (look for the brown bottle in the stores) and sometimes even do a dilute foliar spray and it usually helps. It takes a while, though.
Can you get a photo Greg? Unfortunately Citrus leaves turn yellow for so many reasons, too dry, too wet, some sort of deficiency.

Perhaps a bit of reference from a place where we grow citrus...sowthwest coast of Mexico...

In my orchard, we have so many pests, plagues, and fungus,...oh, and ants that strip the tree of leaves. Ordinarily, in the spring we see old leaves yellow, and new leaves appear...leaves wear out.

When our trees are overcome be something huge, they usually pop out new growth and maybe flowers...and life continues.

I'm guessing (back to my 'houseplant days' that, your plant might be just fine...might need some bigger pot or root trimming, soil replaced, or you need a better place to grow it.

This forum probably has the best 'amended' pots in the world...weather the trees need it or not.

We try so hard to grow stuff where it is so exquisityly impossible...

Greg, does it have thorns?

It looks like iron chlorosis by the look of the the leaves. The blooms are great and a sign of fertility. Mine didn't have blooms and now that I fertilized more it's starting to get some.
