Arboretum Trsteno/Dubrovnik/Croatia

I had a day of yesterday and decided to go for visit to one of the most beautifull places on our coast. Only 120km from my place on the main road to Dubrovnik there is small place named Trsteno with oldest Arboretum in I can say maybe all Europe, first dating in 1498 year. More than 400 various plants, mostly palms, pines and mediterrannian herbs , olives, all kind of flowers and cactuses.
In center of Arboretum is most beautifull and peacefull fontain I ever seen. It buildt in 1736 in honor to Neptun, God of sea.
Worth wisiting

Entering to manison:

Sea wiew from pergola

Among palms:
C. revoluta

Phoenix canariensis

Trachy forest

Neptun & Ante

Neptun and gang

Old Olive press with only 1 HP

still rolling, hahaha

Hey, if I could grow some "winter hair", I'd do it now too

... we have frost temps these last 3 nights. Just too cold for this time - look at my temps!
I'd like to have that olive press but I don't have a bag big enough LOL.

Hey Patty U R allways welcome here to help us harvest olives and sqeeze some domestic oil. I can bet U havent taste any as good as that one.
Two weeks till harvesting starts
