Default Car guys!

My Dad told me he looked at my camaro in storage and saw mold on the leather in places . Car has sat closed up since 2008. The armoral sitting in the leather caused that. Will alcohol remove it? What can I add in the car to keep moisture away? Thanks.

I was told that cars with leather that are being stored should be in storage with the windows cracked to prevent damage to the leather. You can try a high power black light to try and kill the mold without causing damage to the leather.

Never use armor-all on leather. The best product for leather is Lexal. Use their cleaner and then their conditioner. Leave the windows cracked a bit and leave a moister trap in the car.

It's like that vinyl leather material, not seat leather. Stuff the dash and other panels are made of.

Blz
Buy a bag of kitty litter, put few slits in it and toss it in the back seat.
Two bags are better.
That is my method.
Good luck
