This guy was walking his dogs not far from their backyard & the bear charged out of nowhere. Normally, wife & kids would go & normally he didn't carry a gun, but it was new & he prolly wanted to target shoot at something. Not a rifle, but a very powerful gun that almost made him lose balance. He just fired towards the bear not really aiming & stepping back as he fired. The bear finally fell where he was standing with first shot. My gosh, the bear claws were at least 3 inches - as long as his finger. The paw was bigger than his head, & I think it weighed over 800lbs. sheesh

I guess its to early in the season... but come summer I might need to start a new thread; " Gator Wrestlin' " :^) especially if I get some good pictures.. lol Crabbin' this next coming up weekend but I know they will still be hybernating, fornicating, sitting on a rock or secluded bank suckin' up the suns rays, but won't be seen in the water... cause its to cool.... <-sayin' aw shucks.. lol :^)
