First frost here
I had my first frost here this morning. What about you?
I verry much dont like this time of year, I have to put everything away and cram plants into the greenhouse. A bunch of plants have gone to their roots, Hosta, impatents, All my wild flowers have gone away and much more. I have a feeling this is going to be a long winter... The good side is that they are forcasting 40F nights for a wile. I will post some pictures of the damage. Feel free to join in. Ps. Its getting close to halloween, I cant wait. _

Re: First frost here
We've had no snow or frost, just a few snow flecks that turned into water in mid-air, so it's good (maybe a 34°F frost). Arctic front is moving away so it will be minimum temps of 45°F in the night the next one or 2 weeks... Days will be rather cold though, only up to 60°F.
Well, it's the last goodbye from summer, so I'll try and enjoy it.
