From my experience I usually pass the stones early in the morning and I am fine to go to work / go about my day.

I think within the first hour of consuming the oil and lemon juice most of the stones are expelled, then it's just a matter of them passing through the digestive / intestinal tract and finally into the bathroom. If you start at 9pm, expect to go #2 around 7 hrs later. You should fast the day of the cleanse and only drink water or fruit juice.

Oh ok I appologize. I haven't clicked on the link as I thought it was just going to be propaganda promoting the cleanse. I've read so many articles that are totally biased towards the medical profession that I assumed and I know what they say about people that assume!

Jeffry & Cheryl, this D-Mannose I got for KC ...directions:
1/2 - 1 tsp per serving
Day 1 :
1 serving w/ 6 oz water every 2 hours (maz 7 times)
Day 2:
1 serving w/ 6oz water every 3 hours (max 5 times)
Day 3:
1 serving w/ 6oz water every 4 hours (max3 times)
Maintenance:
1 serving daily w/ 6 oz water

It doesn't say anything about fasting, nor how long for the maintenance. What do you think? I s'pose I can find the 1-800 # too I'm just a wee wee (pun intended) thinking of not eating for 4 days LOL

I told Mike that we will both do the gb cleanse on sunday. That's only 1 day to fast.

I don't think you have to fast while using D-Mannose, though you might want to space out meals after taking it. For example in the morning take d-mannose with water then wait at least an hour before your first meal of the day or drinking anything. I think the regimen you posted would be for treating a bladder infection or UTI.


D-Mannose

How much d-mannose do I need to take, and how often?
For an infection, you will need to take ½ - 1 tsp every 2 hours you are awake for the first 2 days. Do not dilute the dose by mixing the powder in a full glass of water. It should mix with 1-3 ounces of liquid, preferably water, to ensure the dose is concentrated and you are getting all of the Manno-max at the same time. DO NOT MIX WITH CITRUS JUICES.
According to Dr. Jonathan V. Wright, editor of Nutrition and Healing, if the infection is not considerably better within 24 hours, it is probably not caused by E.coli, Streptococcus, or Psuedomonas bacteria, please consult your physician.
VERY IMPORTANT – Take ½ - 1 tsp at least 45-60 minutes before relations and ½ - 1 teaspoon immediately after relations whether or not you are on a regular maintenance dose. Manno-Max d-Mannose can also be used for maintenance and prevention.
Will d-mannose react with the prescription drugs I’m taking?
Since d-mannose is a natural food substance, and not a drug, it will not interact with any other prescription drugs an individual is taking. It is completely safe to take d-mannose simultaneously with any prescription drug.
What is the shelf life of D-mannose?
The shelf life of d-mannose is approximately 3 years.
Can bacteria build up a resistance to D-mannose?
No. D-Mannose is not a drug and it does not kill bacteria. D-mannose merely prevents bacteria from attaching to cell walls, enabling the body to eliminate them naturally.
Does D-mannose feed Candida yeast?
D-mannose does not feed Candida yeast because the body does not metabolize it the same way it does with other sugars.

Excuse my ignorance last page. I guess I never really of gallstones - I only heard of kidney stones & pain men have in passing them.
I was just doing more reading on D-Mannose. When you said:

I also read that first link you posted & other recipes. One says to drink the epsom salts night before but I'll do it your way. Mike is 6'1" & about 240 so I think he should drink full cup o oil & I'm 5'8" 125-130 so should I also drink that much? Well, if skinny Cheryl can drink 1/2 cup, maybe 3/4 cp will work for me LOL.
Cheryl, does the apple jc have something in it to flush K stones, or can it be any jc? Can you see the stones? Thanks alot you 2...I'll let you know on Monday

I have seen other cleanses that use other juices...I like the simplicity of this one.
The unfiltered apple juice I believe is to keep your calories up & keep you hydrated.
A gallon of the apple juice I had added up to 1600 calories a day.
Gives you something that tastes good too!
I drink the water until I can't stand water & then I have a good sized glass of apple juice.

I use a fine mesh screen & counted 19 Kid. stones(3 large & the rest small) - I make alot of stones, my kidneys are usually peppered with them when I get X-rays.

I have had no pain & feel more energized!! I recommend it if you are suffering from KS.

Patty, for me 1 cup of olive oil and 1/2 cup of lemon juice does the trick. In the morning I drink a cup of water mixed with 3 teaspoons of epsom salts to help mother nature along.. So I drink the olive oil and lemon juice and go to bed immediately (usually around 10pm), then usually wake up around 4am drink the water/epsom salts, go back to bed and around 6 or 7 am go #2 and pass all the stones, usually around 20-40 stones each time!

When I have KS pain, I feel like I'm being kicked by a horse or taking kidney punches from a boxer.
On the 2nd day of the KC, I had the kicking sensation...I was pained & got a small fever.
I layed down..the next morning I had a small stream & then a surge! It was a large stone.
I have passed some good sized stones before, the small ones don't hurt & the larger ones you just cry & bear it!

Always talk to your physician if you do feel you have kidney stones, they can get an X-ray to evaluate how many & their placement.

I had a very large (17x19mm) stone that completely blocked off my Left Ureter, if I'd had tried a cleanse, it would have done me more harm than good.

This is a little confusing below --I c&p'd it from link. It also says to eat brkfst & lunch day of fast (?):
"Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal, fruit, fruit juice, bread and preserves or honey (no butter or milk). This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

2:00 PM. Do not eat or drink after 2 o'clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later. Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 tbs. in 3 cups water and pour this into a jar. This makes four servings, 3/4 (three fourths) cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only).

6:00 PM. Drink one serving 3/4 (three fourths cup) of the ice cold Epsom salts. If you did not prepare this ahead of time, mix 1 tbs. in 3/4 (three fourth) cup water now. You may add 1/8 (one eight) tsp. vitamin C powder to improve the taste. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil (ozonated, if possible) and grapefruit out to warm up.

8:00 PM. Repeat by drinking another 3/4 (three fourths) cup of Epsom salts.You haven't eaten since two o'clock, but you won't feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success.

9:45 PM. Pour 1/2 (half) cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Add 2 drops HCl to sterilize. Wash grapefruit twice in hot water and dry; squeeze by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with fork. You should have at least 1/2 (half) cup, more (up to 3/4 (three fourths) cup) is best. You may use part lemonade. Add this to the olive oil. Also add Black Walnut Tincture. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit juice does this).

Now visit the bathroom one or more time, even if it makes you late for your ten o'clock drink. Don't be more than 15 minutes late. You will get fewer stones.

10:00 PM. Drink the potion you have mixed. Take 4 ornithine capsules with the first sips to make sure you will sleep through the night. Take 8 if you already suffer from insomnia. Drinking through a large plastic straw helps it go down easier. You may use oil and vinegar salad dressing, or straight honey to chase it down between sips. Have these ready in a tablespoon on the kitchen counter. Take it all to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons).

Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don't. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don't clean up the kitchen. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep, you may fail to get stones out if you don't.

Next morning. Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait until it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don't take this potion before 6:00 am.

2 Hours Later. Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. You may go back to bed again"

Hi Patty,

I've read quite a few recipes and methods and what seems to be the most consistent theme is to not eat anything all day but I'd like to make the point drinking juice or water is ok. One extreme method is to fast for a week before doing the cleanse, another is to drink 2 cups of olive oil, another is to walk all night, and other silly things. I find most of these superfluous things unnecessary. Just keep it plain and simple...one cup olive oil, 1/2 cup lemon juice, lay down...anything else is just overkill. I can see some benefit in taking a magnesium supplement maybe earlier in the day or a couple of hours before doing the cleanse because magnesium has a relaxing effect but I have never bothered with it.

It definitely something to the allergy theory. I used to have get panic attacks and had a caffeine allergy. After a few flushes I have more energy, no more mental fog, and no more panic attacks or allergies. On person commented that the liver is compartmentalized in regard to function, as you flush out the stones from your liver and gall bladder certain allergies and ailments go away. Some people have livers and gall bladders so full of stones it takes a few flushes to get them all out. Unfortunately that was the case with me.

Which brings me to another question LOL. How far did you space those 3 flushes Jeff? 2weeks? 2 months? I'm sure weekly is not a good thing.

Mike drank his dose at 10:15 like a trooper, & went right to sleep on his right side. I waited till 12:30 to drink mine. THANK GOD, or we'd be fighting over the B roomLOL. I had epsom/water in a jar in a little ice bucket in our B room, so when he got up (around 7) he drank some & went back to bed. He went about 7 times in just over an hour he said was over 100 mostly green ones. The biggest was pea size but not many of those...mostly small - some too small to count.
Well then it was my turn. Not many green ones if any, but they looked like dark raisins! Some 1/2 inch!!!! WOW, gross! Must've passed over 50 & more to come. The green ones are made up of cholesterol but what are the dark ones from? This is just amazing us LOL Sure helps when you don't do it alone - we supported each other. Thanks Jerry for posting this - I never heard about these cleansings. And thanks to you too Cheryl!
Oh BTW, we drank the oil thru a straw...much easier. I held my nose too. Also added a little lemon juice to oild - tasted better.

Wonderful Patty!!!

The varying colors of dark greens & browns, even yellow & white are the cholesterol stones. Bile causes the lighter green stones.
