Default gallstones

Sorry this is really off topic (and moderators feel free to delete this after a day or so), but if you or anyone you know has problems with gallstones don't get surgery but rather consider trying a gallstone cleanse. There is so much quack and worthless information out there I thought this was important enough to pass along since I have had first hand experience with this and it works. I feel 1000 percent better since doing it and interestingly this is a very ancient cure.

Basically you fast all day (you can drink juice or water), at the end of the day before bedtime drink 1 cup olive oil (yea i know it's gross) and 1/2 cup lemon juice, lay down and go to sleep. In the morning drink 1 cup of water with three teaspoons of epsom salts mixed in. In about 2-3 hours you will pass all the gallstones.

Just getting the liver and gallbladder working again cured some allergies I have had, acid reflux, and bad cholesterol levels. The gall bladder stores bile (stuff that breaks down fats) and sometimes genetics play a part, drinking alcohol, medicines, fatty foods, etc can cause stones to build up in the liver and gall bladder. Over time the stones get larger and it becomes difficult for the body to release bile to break down fats. Sometimes the stones can cause a painful feeling called a "gallstone attack" after eating greasy, rich foods. This is because the bladder is so full of stones it's like trying to push water through a hose that's full of marbles. So having stones in your gall bladder is bad because you can't release enough bile to break down the fats, bile is also a laxative so not having enough bile release causes constipation, and also the liver isn't able to get rid of toxins so you feel sluggish and tired. I've done maybe 6 cleanses and have gotten rid of 100's of stones. I had an allergy to caffeine but since doing this the allergy is now gone, along with the panic attacks. My cholesterol is perfect now and energy levels are great.

Cool Re: gallstones

Jeffrey,

I am finishing a 4 day Kidney Cleanse today & did a Gallbladder Cleanse last night...My friend Marimer & I are doing it together as support!
The Kidney & GB Cleanse work well in conjunction with each other.

I only do 1/2 of olive oil & a 1/4 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice - must consume within 15 minutes before going to bed & I lie on my right side.

I have not used the epsom salt flush, my body is expelling just fine!!
My friend has used the Saltwater Flush, 1 quart water to 2tsp non-Iodized salt & says it works well for her.

I am not going to share about my gallstones(just gross!), but the relief from my kidney stones has been beyond belief!
Many, many stones have passed & I am pain free!!

I am planning my first meal back on Friday afternoon, probably around 1-2pm, as it is my body's natural rhythm to get hungry around that time.

Probably going to make a French onion soup, what are you having to eat?

Cheryl,

Hmmm...tonight I'll probably have some Italian food, tho french onion soup sounds delish! I really believe alot of allergies and other random health problems could be attributed to congested gall bladders and livers. I've read that most people have liver or gallstones and are asymptomatic (in the sense they are not having gallstone attacks) but may have other health issues related to this..If you consider the billions of things the liver does and if it's not working properly or at peak performance it just makes sense you're not going to feel right. I've read a recipe for another flush that calls for two cups of olive oil, but to me that's just overkill...1/2 cup may work but it might be on the low end of what's required to make the gall bladder empty its contents. I'd even bet most of the acid reflux and high cholesterol cases are due to having gall/liver stones. Probably the two most difficult things about this is fasting all day and drinking the oil...I just drink lemon aide and eat fruit Popsicle s to deal with the hunger pangs. You don't HAVE to do it before you go to bed, if you have the day off you can do it around 4 or 5 in the afternoon, but it's important to either lay flat on your back for at least 4-5 hours or on your right side...one more point I'd like to make is relax, and think of soothing, happy thoughts...I believe that when you have tense or angry thoughts, anxiety it can make the body tense and not release as many stones.

Thanks, this is interesting. Do those stones hurt when they pass? Can you actually see them? How do you know how many there are & if they all passed? I should try this sometime. Do you drink the oil & lemon jc together or jc after the oil?
Sorry for all the quests.

Patty, I hold my nose and gulp down the oil, then chase it with the lemon juice. I'll eat a peanut or something insignificant to get the taste out of my mouth, then I lay down and let the oil/lemon juice do their magic. My experience is within the first couple hours I can feel the gb spasm and release the stones (there is never any pain), I can also feel the liver stones traversing the liver through the heptic duct as well. In the morning when you go #2 (again sorry not meaning to be gross but..) you'll see the stones in floating on top in the bowl. I usually drink a glass of water with 3 teaspoons of epsom salts to really help flush everything out. They are pea green usually but can be tan, brown or red in color but usually they are a deep green color (cholesterol stones). If this is your first cleanse you'll probably pass a bunch the first evacuation, and less each time you have to go. The first time I did a gb cleanse I probably passed about 200 stones easily. If you have gall stone attacks I'd recommend doing a second flush two weeks later. For what it's worth, it's interesting if nothing else, one thing I noticed is the white of my eyes are brilliant white after doing a flush. I think it's because the liver is working at top performance and the toxins are flushing out instead of building up in the bloodstream. It's worked so well for me and it really makes me sad when I hear someone going in for gall bladder surgery. I've tried to tell people but generally the response is BAH! Or I think I will go with the advice of my doctor! The gall bladder stores bile and then releases it as needed to break down fats but when you have your gall bladder removed your liver is constantly dripping bile into the small intestine and you're destined for a life of constantly having "the runs" because you have too much bile all the time in the intestines. The first time I did it I admit I was skeptical - nevertheless I was also hopeful. I promise you I felt soooo much better and had a ton of energy the next day it's like I was given a new body.

Jeff, a doctor couldn't explain it better! I only heard that galstones pass thru urinary tract & when they are big, it is very painful esp. for men, & they gotta get the stone zapped out. I gotta get Michael to do this w/ me. Since Cheryl drinks half your amount, maybe I'll go w/ 2/3 cp oil & 1/3 cp jc. Can I still drink my usual wine or 2 martinis before bed?
Cheryl what's the diff between kidney cleanse & gallbladder cleanse?

Cool Re: gallstones

Hi Patty!!

The kidney cleanse is for your urinary tract system. #1's
1 gallon of unfiltered apple juice & 1 gallon of distilled water A DAY.

The gallbladder cleanse works via your intestinal tract. #2's
1/2 cup olive oil followed by 1/4 cup lemon juice - rest for 5-6 hours(best at bedtime for me), lie on right side.

The kidney cleanse(KC) takes 3-4 days, while the gallbladder cleanse(GC) is for 1 day.

Once the KC kicks into full gear, you will end up going #1 about 10 or more times a day...it flushes the stones if you have any - it doesn't hurt me.
When the stones get stuck is when they hurt me...they've not stuck during a KC.

In the morning after a GC, I would stick VERY close to the bathroom.
They are expelled painlessly through the #2's.
The stones, oddly enough, float - as they are made up mostly of cholesterol.
Some people I know filter there #2's to keep track of the number & size of stones.

So now...that I've totally grossed you out , I gotta tell you how much energy I have after I get done with the Cleanses!!

As far as your nightly cocktails...I know with the KC - No, but with the GC, I am unsure.

That's true Abnshrek, but it's best to do these flushes before you ever get to that point and yes it works.
kidney stones are mineral stones that are tiny but extremely painful to pass as they travel from the kidneys then through the bladder and urinary tract. Gallstones on the other hand, when doing a gallstone flush, are painless to expel. They pass from the gall bladder into the small intestines follow along on their merry journey to the large intestines and then into the swimming pool (:
Patty no booze the day of the cleanse ): I know it stinks but it's all for the good. Also take any RX medications the morning of and if you take Rx's 2x a day, try at least an hr or two before the cleanse.

Cheryl, thanks for the details. I pee about 10 x's a day average so I might have to sleep in the bathroom huh? Also, I'm prone to light bladder infections that make ya pee little but often, so I drink cranberry juice & it goes away. I heard it cleanses the kidney too. Ever try that?
My cholesteral was high so I'm on a med for it. I guess it won't hurt to go without - I forget to take them a lot anyway LOL
I always wondered why ppl had gallbladder surgery...now I know! Thanks!
Geez, I don't know if I can go 4 days w/out eating while drinking 2 gal a day. whew!

I had one kidney stone that was almost the size of a ping pong ball! When I saw the IVP film I was totally grossed out, and in panic. I don't care how well endowed you are; a ping pong ball ain't gonna make it out! It took 2 months before it finally reached a point when I was able to have it surgically broken up and removed. Definitely the most painful time in my life. As a nurse I'm skeptical of these 'cleanses', but if it avoids the pain of a renal or gall stone, try it!

Patty and Joan, there are a quite a few testimonials here: Liver cleanse gallbladder cleanse gallstones flush recipe

It seems a common thread when you need to do a cleanse (me included) is abdominal pain after eating rich foods, pain under the right shoulder, and acid reflux.

That was my question can you leave the house without worry.

How long does the effect take place. is it one time? if not how long should one expect the GC to take place.
Also do you fast while you wait for the evacuation? or just do it before bedtime?

Thanks for this great info

I'm a great believer in natural remedies but I agree with Abnshrek that it could be hospital time if you're not careful. Nothing wrong with seeing your Dr and getting an ultra sound to see what condition the gall bladder is in if you've been having problems. I hadn't realized that I had been having gallbladder problems until about 10 hours before I went in for surgery. They tried laproscopy first but it was too far gone so had to switch to the old fashioned way and the Dr said my gall bladder almost fell apart in his hand. Now had I started on the cleanses long ago as a preventive measure I'm sure I wouldn't have ended up in that position but I hate to hear advice given this way promoting 'a cure' over surgery. People could get hurt. As a healthy preventive measure I think it sounds great.
