Default Snow

Anyone else getting hit by this (midwest?) snow storm? So far we have got a good 4-5" of snow with drifts up to about a foot. They say the most is still to come overnight, up to 14" drifts up to 4'.

Love the snow just wish it had come a month or two ago, Was just starting to look forward to warming temps.

South Central Kentucky... we're getting hit right now. So far just a light coating of freezing rain but supposed to have several inches of snow by morning.

At about 1:00 - 1:30 I was stopping at crosswalks in Panama City to let the spring breakers cross the street ,in thier swimwear ,headed to the beach .
A few hours later , after I passed Hatisburg , Ms . I ran into a total blizzard (by southerner standards). It snowed on me all the way to North La. .
My wife said it snowed all day and the radio report called for 3" but I don't buy it .
Looks like it's back to the drawing board with the new growth.

Arg! Here we're heading into our 9th snowstorm of the season... and we just got one on wednesday! It started to melt away with great spring temperatures, but it's getting cold again... 40 cm of snow this weekend! I'm guessing one more month of winter... sigh

Taylor, the price of that ensete just went up. lol...
We have like 4-5 inches of snow here too.
I kind of like it because I decided to wait an extra week before starting my main crop of heirloom tomato seeds and I think this justifies it a little bit more. Those darn things grow so fast that if you start them two weeks too early, then they're so tall that they're hard to haul to the farmers market or sell them online.

Hahaha! Sorry Sandy! (BTW, it was only 70 because the cold front hadn't hit yet. It is probably in the 50s now, low of 36 tonight )

Well we ended up getting a good 1 1/2 - 2 feet of snow. It was windy to which made it much worse.
