Straight Bananas
I don't know if this is true and probably it is nonsense so that is why I placed
this thread in the Tiki Hut but I have read that when you support the bunch of bananas from the start in a way it is not subject to gravity the bananas will grow straight instead curved. Ron |

Re: Straight Bananas
It is not a joke, when you are able to direct the stalk so that the flower
points upwards it should work out. I think you need to tie it with a rope. If it doesn't works we have to wait for Jarreds ISS. Ron |

Re: Straight Bananas
Anna:
I saw your banana late bloom and there are fruits but the leaves are dried. So what will happpen to the fruits now? I have the same situation with my calif gold. My guess is that the fruit will not grow big anymore because there is no energy left to sustain the fruit.

Re: Straight Bananas
That's a good question! I was just so suprised to see any bananas on that plant. I was hoping they would develop normally.
