Tractors
Care to show a picture of your tractor? Talk about your tractor? Well, Heres mine: My tractor is a 1725 ford "newholland". Its 2 wheel drive, I wish I would of gotten a 4wd now though. I think the engine hp is around 28, The year it was made was 1999. The picture was taken after a days plowing in the field during spring, and I had just washed it. More info on my tractor: TractorData.com Ford-New Holland 1725 tractor information Feel free to share pictures of your tractor, or talk about them. .

Re: Tractors
Yeah, so here's the tractor I've got.... well inherited with this farm actually. 1985 International Harvester 784 that has seen much better days, but still going thanks to baling wire, nylon twine and various other bandaging aids. Its hard to put a still working tractor down, I guess.

Re: Tractors
Dunno if it's an effect only in my area, but generally, older tractors were constructed for much longer material endurance and I've seen some that have been working (almost) since 1960.
Many new tractors can't compare to the old ones. Also repairing a newer tractor (the bigger the worse it gets) can be tricky and is not as simple as repairing older, yet elegantly simpler models.

Re: Tractors
The simpler the tractor, the better it is.
