Unwanted Religious Invitation
I have received a muslim invitation from someone called Patricia. I really resent people using forums to spread their religious convictions. What must I do to prevent this type of thing in the future inthis forum?

Re: Unwanted Religious Invitation
Yes its sad when you feel put upon by other people's religious convictions on a place like a plant forum. I hate that. As a non-Christian, I had to quit utilizing a pond forum that I actually really liked, because there were a lot of what I refer to as "in your face" Christians on there who couldn't leave their religion either at church, or at least off the public forum. Everything from Prayer requests, to stories of miracle healing, to open suggestions that "if you trust in the lord everything will work out" and scripture quotations online. I felt like they were always trying to convert me, or either always looking down on me. It just has no place on somewhere like this.

Re: Unwanted Religious Invitation
I have received some of these invitations, mostly at other sites and one here awhile back. My curiousity was sparked when they used the name Patricia for several different faiths. All of these invitations were to web sites with a similar organization of links to sites for that faith. But at the bottom of every one of those sites were links to mostly the same shopping sites. It is my guess that the person(s) earn a few pennies of income each time someone clicks on the link from their site to one of the shopping sites.
