Shirley Owens (from the Shirelles) originally did not want to record this and it took quite a bit of arm twisting by the producers in 1960 before she relented. She didn't like it because it was too "country-musicky". It made the top 100 charts the following year. Some quarters rate it as the top song in 1960, but personally, I think it was "The Theme from a Summer Place" (instrumental) by Ray Conniff.

Great song for karaoke, though.

Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue played very loud with lots of bass in between Twilight Zone episodes that I've seen way too many times.
