Worthy Cause
I hesitate to ask friends to donate money or time to my favorite causes, but I'm breaking my rule here to advocate you consider doing so for The Wounded Warrior Project. No matter what our political persuasion, I hope all can agree on the need to support those who were wounded while serving in our country's military. To me this is crucial. As an old Army combat medic, I have seen up close and personal too many of these kids over time, and we must extend our helping hands. OK, I'm climbing off of my soapbox. Below is a link for further information. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Re: Worthy Cause
A very worthy cause, indeed!! Coming from a family with veterans, I am fortunate to be able to be an auxiliary member of local VFW Posts (#9430, #1263), and contribute some time, treasure, and talent to our vets and troops, not only through volunteer work on almost a daily basis, but through special events for fund raising, and to welcome and honor visiting troops, or to honor the many who have passed on.
Thank you for your efforts, Howard! |

Re: Worthy Cause
And yours, Chong. My guess is that there are many "silent heroes" out there.
