No problem, the photos, it might just be me. But is it rotten? It might just be the photo but I would remove all the excess dead stuff and dead roots. But otherwise. I’d put it in 50/50 perlite soil...

I own a gros Michel, it hasn’t fruited but looks similar to this. Check for white specs as my gros Michel has lots of em. But idk if that’s specific for a gros Michel. But, even with fruit it’s hard...

Nope not really. They pup when they want to. It takes however long it takes. My Orinoco has pupped like man but Siam ruby has only put one out. If the plants healthy It’ll pup, I wouldn’t worry about...

From what I’ve researched, all banana varieties are affected by banana bunchy top. From what I’ve read there’s no cure other than termination of the plant and pups.

I think this is a iron/sulphur deficiency due to the ligh leaves. But I don’t trust myself.

So I used the organic stuff for 90% of my bananas. The Orinoco has taken a shine to it....

Simple answer is yes, algae is full of nutrients, nitrogen being a big one. It smells cause (i tbink) the anaerobic respiration or day. Make it smell or it’s still water making Botulism form.

It’s in a raised bed in a polytunnel. So I add all water. I only water on hot days once a day in the morning giving a handsome amount eg 3-5 litres

I fertilised on the 4th July with all granular stuff... so that doesn’t add up. It can’t be fertiliser burn it’s been too soon, I’m confused now
