I use brass shim stock and those "U" shaped wire staples that are used to hold down weed block fabric. Hammer each letter of the name into the soft brass shim stock and Voila! help for an aging...

My yard has these conditions, same conditions in places. Good fertile soil about 4" deep, crappy clay and rocks about 18" deep and some God awful looking crap below, that is totally nutrient free. So...

My HuaMoa ain't Hua no Moa. For some reason it kicked the bucket and I never replanted it. I live in banana land, so if it wants to be fussy. I'll move on and plant others...maybe go back to Hua Moa...

As someone who has done the same thing only from Cuiaba and BH...I planted mine, kept them moist(not wet) and left them...I was seeing sprouts in a week...all the old outside died and new plants came...
