Re: Simple and Effective, but not Elegant.

Re: Simple and Effective, but not Elegant.

Thanks!

Re: passion flower / fruit

I've made tea from P. incarnata three times in the last two weeks. The tea is actually very nice if the leaves are allowed to dry for a few days before brewing. My first brew was made with fresh...

Re: A Place To Vent

Got my chainsaw stuck in a tree. It's still there, like Excalibur.

Re: Variegated Musa "Florida"

I'm not really sure. We had temps in the single digits, snow, and ground that was frozen for a few days.

Re: Variegated Musa "Florida"

My (...er...Harvey's) FV Made it through our icy Winter, and is putting on it's third leaf. I dug it up last year, and saw several pups, but only one popped up so far.

Re: A Place To Vent

Also, the armadillos here which were like small VW beetles are now like VW buses complete with roto-tillers in the front, and plows in the rear.

solar still/solar distiller for pure water

Have any of you built one of these? I've been collecting rain water for years, but we've been in serious drought since early last year. It would be nice to have pure top off water on demand.

Re: Tomatoes

I got a lot of fruit, then some nutrient deficiencies, then the dred tomato worms. I fed many of these[worms] to the fish. The extreme heat last year wasn't really great for oxygenating water either....

Re: Need help, whats wrong with my GBOP

Can you believe that I found a leaf on mine today after severe freezes and snow?!?! I'm sure it'll never get very large outdoors, but am still amazed at it's survival and plan to leave it out there.
